The right and left walls of the auditorium double as screens. Depending on the size of the auditorium, two or more projectors are mounted on the ceiling to provide an expanded view of the movie, allowing the audience a more immersive experience than ever before.
ScreenX highlights cinema’s scope and scale to provide elevated action sequences and breath-taking scenery that transforms the movie-going experience like never before. Take a journey to the outer reaches of space, or deep under the sea, in a way that not only immerses your senses but provides you with the same sense of magic and wonder that you felt the very first time you saw a movie on the big screen.
All side-projecting footage is brand-new, additional footage created specifically (and exclusively) for ScreenX. The original cut of the movie is not cropped or stretched in any way. ScreenX footage will not be included in the standard version of the movie (i.e. Blu-Rays, DVDs, digital streaming services, etc).
ScreenX footage is created in post-production, which involves utilizing previously unused footage and CGI.
